Osteoporosis in Women
There are different bone diseases known to the world of medicine and one of them is osteoporosis in which women are more prone to than men. Osteoporosis is a disease that makes bone weak and brittle thus resulting to fracture of the bones that causes unbearable pain and reduced mobility.
In osteoporosis, loss of bone mass occurs due to loss of calcium that often results to more porous bones which weakens it and makes it more likely to break.
You may not know that you have osteoporosis until you experience serious signs like broken bones, low back pain or hunched-back. These symptoms often occur after much loss of calcium.
