Migraines and Breast Cancer Risk
Migraines is a growing concern especially with women who are approaching or in their menopausal stage, often a symptom of age. Lifestyle modifications such as the avoidance of migraine “triggers” has resulted not only in lowering the occurrence of the said pain but also lowers the risk of contracting breast cancer. Most known migraine triggers are also linked to be causes of breast cancer or may have components that does induce the mutation of cells into cancer cells such as coffee, alcohol and many other food-stuffs. Smoking, another of th emany cancer causing agents, is also an identified trigger, avoidance of which means less chances of developing the many forms of cancer that currently afflicts many people the world over.
